Research to Practice to Research Exchange (RPR)

RPR Exchange is dedicated to providing primary care clinicians with the tools and knowledge necessary for evidence-based practice and improved patient care.

RPR Exchange: Enhancing Primary Care with Timely, Implementable Research Insights

RPR Exchange is designed to facilitate the integration of current research and development initiatives into the practice of primary care clinicians in Oklahoma. Recognizing the vast influx of information disseminated to these clinicians, RPR Exchange aims to provide high-value, actionable insights from credible sources.

Core Components of RPR Exchange:

Searchable Repository: A meticulously curated database featuring meta-analyses, systematic reviews, clinical guidelines, and comprehensive reports from large-scale clinical trials. This repository also includes peer consultation aids (tools that support professional collaboration), clinical decision aids (tools to help make informed decisions), patient education resources, best practice ideas, and public health announcements.

Targeted Email Notifications: Regular updates delivered via email, featuring succinct summaries and direct links to resources deemed important, practical, and sustainable (referred to as high-value information). These notifications ensure that clinicians receive relevant information efficiently.

Interactive Query System: An established process for members to submit clinical questions, observations, research proposals, and requests for expert assistance to OU faculty. This feature supports direct engagement with academic experts to address specific clinical and research needs.

Affiliated Listserv: A specialized listserv created by the Oklahoma Physicians Resource/Research Network (OKPRN), facilitating ongoing communication and collaboration among healthcare professionals.
