Leadership Partners Oklahoma IDeA Programs Impact Cite OSCTR Support
How to Cite the OSCTR
Please acknowledge OSCTR support if you consulted with OSCTR personnel, used OSCTR facilities, or obtained data or resources from the OSCTR. This is essential to ensure that OSCTR services and facilities can receive financial support to remain available for future research. Access to OSCTR resources may be restricted for investigators who habitually fail to acknowledge OSCTR support.
There are three steps to acknowledge OSCTR support:
- 1. Name the OSCTR in the Acknowledgments section of any publication, presentation, or press release that describes research supported by the OSCTR. For manuscripts, use the following statement: “This research was supported by the Oklahoma Shared Clinical and Translational Resources (U54GM104938) with an Institutional Development Award (IDeA) from NIGMS. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the National Institutes of Health.”
- 2. Let us know about your upcoming publication or presentation.
- 3. Link OSCTR funding (U54GM104938, PI James) to your manuscript in the NIHMS system. Please contact us if you need assistance with this step.
Authorship and Acknowledgement
Core personnel who make scientific contributions to a manuscript should be recognized as co-authors. Core personnel who do not reach the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged. Services that should be acknowledged may include technical assistance, writing assistance, bibliographic assistance, and others. Please get in touch with core personnel for additional information on authorship and details on how to cite OSCTR support.
